Considering UB Yoga's 200HR Yoga Teacher Training? Primary instructors will give general information and answer questions about the course. During this 2-hr workshop learn the effects of using props on physical alignment, compare the ability to access challenging postures with and without the use of props, explore posture adaptations using the wall, blocks, blankets, bolsters, and straps, and practice teach in small groups, integrating props.
Gain a broad repertoire of breathing techniques that encourage your students to break through physical, mental, emotional blocks and deepen their yogic experience. Through practice and discussion, this course reviews foundational pranayama practices including and as well as more advanced techniques.
Fall is coming, so it's time for our next challenge - OMtober! Simply attend 30 classes during the 31 days of October at Urban Breath Yoga (either studio location), and you've conquered the challenge. Gear up to start on Saturday, October 1!
OMTober Challenge Potluck Party!
Celebrate the OMtober challenge with us on Friday, November 4, 7-9pm at the Maplewood location. We'll honor all those who participated, present certificates to those who finished the challenge, and draw the names of the winner of the one-month and 6-month yoga prizes. The party is a potluck so bring you favorite party dish!
Take time for inward contemplation by slowing down and practicing "being". Yin yoga will help relax the body, empty the mind and surrender desires. We will explore the body and the mind objectively through breaths, movements and feelings in yin yoga practice, which will lead into meditation
